Leighton Meester (born Leighton Meester) is a American model and singer. Most famously, she is known for her part as 'Blair Waltdorf' in the television drama"Gossip Girl.' Leighton Meester began her career in the field at the age of a small girl. She was a part of the local stage production of "Wizard of Oz" during her childhood. That sparked her fascination in acting. Commercials and modeling were her initial stages. Through her modeling work, she's been associated with top brands including 'Herbal Essentials' Vera Wang,' 'Jimmy Choo and 'Ralph Lauren. Although she started her modeling career as model, she eventually started acting. Her acting debut came with a cameo role in the show on television 'Law and Order'. She has since played in numerous movies and television series such as 'Country Strong", 'Monte Carlo', and Killer Movie. In addition to her role as an actor, Meester collaborated with notable artists including 'Cobra Starship' as well as Singer Robin Thicke, and recorded songs. Her songs have been featured in her list of Billboard Top Hits. She also performed in a Broadway production of "Of Mice and Men."
