" alt="Stevie Wonder-3-819x1024"/>Tatyana Marisol Ali, born January 24 1979, is an American actress. Her most well-known work is her role as Ashley Banks on the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. When she was just four, she began singing and was soon able to gain some fame through her mother's request to invite her to Sesame Street auditions. The actress began her journey as a regular performer in 1985 at the age of 6 young girl on Sesame Street, a PBS children's show. She continued to pursue her acting career in New York City with many shows that included Fences the Broadway production, as well as Orfeo del Campo that was an off-Broadway production. She won Star Search twice when she was just seven years old. Her second appearance earned her a rating of four stars.
